Recycle Your Used Contact Lenses & Packaging

Did you know... We are a member and drop-off site for Bausch & Lomb's Terracycle contact lens recycling program! Contact lenses and blister packs from all manufacturer's are accepted. Just drop them off at our office, and we will mail them in to be recycled.

What happens to the waste? Once received, the contact lenses and blister packs are separated by composition and cleaned. The metal layers of the blister packs are recycled separately, while the contact lenses and plastic blister pack components are melted into plastic that can be remolded to make recycled products.

Need an even bigger incentive? As a thank you for your dedication to Eliminating the Idea of Waste, for every qualifying shipment of 2 pounds or more, B&L will make a a $1/lb donation to Optometry Giving Sight, a nonprofit working to prevent blindness and impaired vision for those who do not have access to eye exams and glasses/contacts.
